unfortunately there are plenty of 'fake' monks around the stupas and temples begging for money from tourists but also from locals

the glorious gilden Shwedagon Stupa plated with real gold and a big diamond on top of the 'hti', the umbrella like decorative top of all stupas.

These matchbox like Madzdas are roaming Burma and are used as Taxi and mini-pickups
