Cambodia Apocalypse Now trip

After some pressure from the guys I organised another dirt bike trip to Cambodia. This time to the North East of Cambodia, Mondulkiri, Ratanakiri and then towards the Mekong and further to Preah Vihear district. While Fabien and Rob will start from Phnom Penh, I decided to take my BMW for a ride all the way from Bangkok to Phnom Penh and the way back via the route and Siem Reap. 8 days on the road and 2500 km. Started on Tuesday afternoon in Bangkok, crossed the border around 4 and arrived in Battambang at 6:30 pm. My chosen Teo Hotel got new owners and turned into a boom boom massage hotel, however I got a room on the top floor for 10$ including ac, no breakfast and it was ok. Started at 9 yesterday for Phnom Penh and arrived at 1pm at Villa Langka. Spend the afternoon with Rob at his beautiful house at the bank of the Mekong river. Unfortunately the left sealing of the front suspension started leaking and I had to find a repair shop this morning with fitting spare parts. Got lucky, found a Scotsman who had the right dealings and will get the bike back this afternoon. Meanwhile I’m enjoying the day at Villa Langka.
